Hi, I’m Caralyn Bains, let me tell you a bit about me:

I have several qualifications that help me as a Psychologist:

BSc (Hons) Psychology

MSc Applied Positive Psychology

Advanced Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.

Certificate in bereavement counselling

Diploma in Aromatherapy.

Diploma Mental Health in Young People.

Hypnotherapy practitioner (DHP Acc. Hyp)

Fully Accredited Master Hypnotherapist Diploma.

I am also an Associate Fellow with The British Psychological society and frequently write for psychology publications including The Psychologist. I am also a Member of The Association for Business Psychologists. (MABP)

I specialise in Trauma, Anxiety, ADHD, Sensory Issues.

I also have an ADHD specialist diagnosis qualification and can provide assessments and reports.

I hold trainer status with CPD Standards Office for The Soma Thera Release System. TM. Alongside this I offer other CPD courses, please see the relevant section.

As an experienced psychologist, I have the tools and understanding to help you to create the life you imagine and get a renewed sense of self. I can help you change your perception of life so that it is filled with vitality and enthusiasm. I specialise in reduction of anxiety, reframing experiences for empowerment, releasing baggage and building resilience through a positive psychology toolkit, CBT, hypnotherapy and other strategies. I also work with trauma release In a fusion of somatic /psychological coaching In my own system The Soma Thera Release System. TM. TSTRS. I am also a CPD trainer in this system.

I can work over the phone, Skype or face to face. I’m an Associate Fellow of The British Psychological Society (AFBPsS) and abide by their code of ethics And professional standards.
I also do ADHD assessments and diagnosis. I don’t prescribe medication however as I am not a clinical psychologist or prescriber.

Specialising in Anxiety reduction Techniques

At Best of You Consultancy, I specialise in several modalities to help clients move through trauma, work with anxiety, or achieve greater life satisfaction. I also work with Neurodivergence. I use Positive Psychology, CBT, and mindfulness-based therapies to help clients gain greater self-awareness, reduce stress and anxiety, and improve overall well-being. I have extensive training in Psychology and integrate this into evidence-based coaching techniques to help clients achieve their goals.

Having started to suffer with anxiety problems all of a sudden.. I came across the help of Caralyn - recommended by a friend. I'd like to genuinely thank this lady for the in depth knowledge and understanding she had to help me. In an hour long session with Caralyn I was advised of all the real solutions to prevent the anxiety.. from the vitamins I was lacking to the foods I should eat.. aswel as many other coping mechanisms that worked - one of them being Caralyns hypnosis session. I was at unease about this at first however doing the session was amazing. One of the main purposes of it was to walk away feeling calm and even to this day I still have walked away with that feeling of calmness. There is this superb tool out there - hypnosis - which caralyn has the ability to do..which can solve many issues and pain that sufferers have been dealing with for years, but from the right help you have access to find somewhat relief from this pain.
