Helping teenagers make sense of themselves in a world that often asks too much, too soon

Being a teenager can be one of the most challenging periods of development.
As young people begin navigating increasing academic pressure, friendships, identity, social expectations and the growing influence of technology, it‘s not uncommon for confidence, emotional wellbeing and self-understanding to feel unsettled.
Sometimes teenagers need space to think with somebody outside of their immediate environment.
Teen coaching provides a supportive space where young people can begin to better understand themselves, develop confidence, strengthen emotional resilience and work through the challenges they may be facing.
Areas we may explore include:
• Anxiety and overwhelm
• Self-esteem and confidence
• Friendship difficulties and social pressures
• School-related stress
• Emotional regulation
• Neurodivergence, including ADHD and autism
• Identity, belonging and self-understanding
• Motivation, organisation and executive functioning challenges
• Building healthy coping strategies
• Navigating change and transitions
Sessions are tailored to the individual young person and focus on understanding rather than judgement.
The goal is not to “fix” teenagers. Rather it’s to help them better understand themselves, recognise their strengths and feel more equipped to navigate the world around them. This also includes how to navigate the world of digital culture.
Supporting young people to become who they are, not who the world expects them to be.
Family coaching sessions are designed to help families build stronger relationships, improve communication, and resolve conflicts. I believe that every family has unique strengths, and I work with families to identify those strengths and build on them to create a more positive and supportive family environment.
